Corporate Communications Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Communications team, we are currently looking for a Corporate Communications Coordinator to join the team; candidates from Perth or Sydney are welcome to apply.
The Corporate Communications Coordinator plays an integral part in supporting VGW's corporate communications strategy, with a primary focus on driving and executing our internal communications initiatives. The role provides strategic communications advice to business units, fosters strong employee engagement, and crafts compelling content that keeps our global team connected and informed. It is a passionate storyteller and copywriter who excels at engaging internal audiences and strengthening our company culture. While predominantly focused on our internal channels, this role will also collaborate with and support the broader team on external communications and brand initiatives when needed.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate across the business to provide expert advice and deliver best-practice internal communications that inform and connect our global team.
- Develop engaging communication materials tailored for a variety of internal channels, including company-wide town halls and the VGW intranet.
- Assist in developing and implementing VGW's internal communication strategy to strengthen company culture and keep business units aligned.
- Write and edit smart, engaging copy with the ability to adapt tone and style seamlessly to suit different audiences, primarily internal stakeholders.
- Assist the broader team in developing content and maintaining VGW's corporate website and social media channels as required.
- Assist in creating communications that promote VGW's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, including supporting sponsorship opportunities and event activations.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of communications initiatives.
What you will bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
- 3+ years of corporate communications experience within a fast-paced, medium to large company.
- An understanding of the technology landscape is preferred.
- Experience in internal communications, with a demonstrated ability to ensure communications reflect the culture of the business.
- Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing engagement with internal stakeholders across various levels.
- Self-motivated and solutions-driven with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
