What you’ll do
Commercial Design & Trend Translation: Design commercially successful Soft Home collections (bedding, cushions, throws, and decor) by interpreting seasonal trends, colour directions, and customer insights into cohesive ranges.
Original Artwork Creation: Translate creative direction into exclusive, high-quality CAD artwork, including engineered bedding designs, repeat patterns, and coordinating textiles that align with the seasonal strategy.
Technical Development: Produce comprehensive technical specifications and supplier-ready development packs, working closely with offshore vendors on artwork, colourways, and product specs.
Quality & Sample Approvals: Evaluate strike-offs, lab dips, and production samples to ensure final manufactured products accurately reflect the approved design intent.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Design Manager, Buying, Sourcing, Technical, and Packaging teams to manage the end-to-end design process and deliver ranges on time.
Range Innovation: Proactively pitch ideas and new product opportunities to strengthen the collection while maintaining alignment with the overarching creative vision.
What you’ll bring
Proven track record in designing commercially successful Soft Home textiles, specifically across bedding, cushions, throws, and home decor.
Demonstrated experience creating high-quality, original print artwork, repeat patterns, engineered bedding designs, and coordinating yardages using industry-standard design software.
Experience interpreting seasonal trend boards, colour directions, and customer insights to build cohesive and commercially viable product collections.
Hands-on experience working directly with offshore vendors, including the creation of accurate, supplier-ready development packs and technical specifications.
Solid background in managing the product development lifecycle, with specific experience reviewing and approving strike-offs, lab dips, and production samples against design intent.
Proven ability to partner effectively with Design Managers, Buying, Sourcing, and Technical teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused ranges on time.
