Siemens Grid Software provides software for electric utilities and grid operators to plan, monitor, automate, and optimize power grids. It helps manage everything from transmission and distribution networks to renewable energy integration, grid reliability, outage response, and digital grid operations.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experience Commercial Professional to join our team in Melbourne.
As a Commercial Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Financial management and oversight of projects within the Grid Software business unit
- Project forecasting, cost analysis and cash flow management
- Contract reviews and contractual risk management
- Monitoring project performance and profitability in pursuit of team KPIs
- Enforce financial compliance and providing commercial governance
- Working closely with project managers, sales teams and operational stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and smarter ways of working
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and digital innovation
- Posting Month end revenue journals and assisting with balance sheet review
In order to be considered for this opportunity it is likely that you will have 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, finance, project coordination or project support role. Hold a degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Accounting or similar, have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow is a must, and experience with SAP and Power BI is highly desirable but not essential.
