Glenorchy City Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Wellbeing & Return to Work Advisor to lead our injury management, return to work and employee wellbeing programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a safe, resilient and engaged workforce, while driving proactive health and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Human Resources, you will:

Lead end-to-end injury management and workers compensation case management

Drive effective and timely return to work outcomes

Provide expert advice to leaders and employees on injury management and wellbeing

Design and deliver Council’s Health and Wellbeing Program

Monitor data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve outcomes

Collaborate with leaders, WHS, insurers and medical providers to support recovery and prevention
About You
You are a confident and compassionate professional who can balance compliance with people-centred outcomes. You bring:

Relevant qualification (HR, WHS, Injury Management or similar)

Experience in workers compensation, injury management and return to work coordination
-
Strong case management and stakeholder engagement skills
-
Ability to influence leaders and manage complex or sensitive situations
-
Experience delivering health and wellbeing initiatives
-
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
Position details: Full-Time, 76 hour – 9 day fortnight (we will also consider part-time).
