What does Volunteering Involve?
Volunteering even a small amount of time makes life much brighter for both you and the people you’ll get to know. There are several ways you can volunteer at Craigcare -

Activity Buddy - This could include taking part in our home activities such as our Men’s Shed, walking groups, board games, knitting groups, reading, reminiscence chats, gardening, baking, or playing a musical instrument,

1:1 Buddy - This could be as simple as coming in for a regular chat and a cuppa with one of our residents.

Spiritual Support Buddy - Providing emotional and spiritual support to our residents and their families.

Weekly outing bus driver – This would involve driving our residents to local community destinations and enjoying the community sites and activities on offer together
Essential Requirements:

NDIS for volunteers (or willingness to obtain)

Police check (in case you don't have NDIS Clearance for volunteers)
