Join the team behind Woolworths MarketPlus (WMP), we are looking for passionate individuals to work on WMP, the innovative platform launched in October 2023. WMP is transforming our online offering by empowering third-party sellers to seamlessly list and manage products across our key marketplace businesses, including Big W, Woolworths Online (Everyday Market), and Everyday Rewards Shop.
Our goal is to expand our product range, providing customers with an unparalleled "one-stop shop" experience for an extensive selection of exclusive online products.
What you’ll do
The Product Manager role in WMP drives the development of specific WMP product features, ensuring they meet business needs, enhance the customer and seller experience, and contribute to operational efficiency across Woolworths Group.
Key accountabilities include:
Product Feature Ownership: Own and manage the product backlog for specific platform features or components, from ideation through launch and iteration.
Requirements Definition & User Stories: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and translate complex business problems and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements, support the development of user stories and acceptance criteria at a high standard.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Prioritisation: Prioritise features and user stories based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic impact, ensuring a clear rationale for decisions.
Product Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, including discovery, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch analysis.
User & Market Understanding: Conduct research, analyse data, and gather user feedback to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Performance Tracking: Define and monitor KPIs for your features, analysing data to measure success and identify areas for optimization.
Communication: Clearly communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to various internal stakeholders.
What you’ll bring

Solid track of product management experience, preferably in enterprise or retail, plus proficiency in Jira and Google Analytics.

Experience translating complex business needs into clear product requirements and user stories within an agile team environment.

Ability to use strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven skills to make informed product decisions and track performance effectively.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.

Ability to manage multiple priorities; along with experience with user research, A/B testing, and usability testing.
