Tamborine Mountain Glades is seeking a friendly, organised and guest-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team within one of Queensland’s most unique rainforest destinations.
Located within the iconic Thunderbird Park, Tambourine Mountain Glades combines accommodation, weddings, conferences, family attractions and nature-based experiences across 112 hectares of stunning hinterland rainforest.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.
The Role
As part of our Front Office team, you will help deliver a warm, professional and efficient guest experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of reception.
Key Responsibilities

Welcoming guests and managing check-ins/check-outs

Answering phone and email enquiries

Processing accommodation and activity bookings

Assisting guests with local information and directions

Managing online, phone and walk-in reservations

Handling payments and cash transactions

Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments

General reception and administrative duties
This is a hands-on guest services role suited to someone who enjoys both customer interaction and staying organised behind the scenes.
About You
You’ll ideally bring previous reception, hospitality or customer service experience, along with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Previous experience with hotel management systems a plus
Previous hotel reception or tourism experience is highly regarded, but applicants with strong customer service backgrounds from retail, administration or hospitality are also encouraged to apply.
This role is suited to candidates seeking a longer-term opportunity. Applicants must have ongoing Australian working rights, as Working Holiday Visa holders and sponsorship requests cannot be considered for this position.
