tonies® is a fast-growing global children’s audio entertainment brand, transforming how kids experience stories, music and learning. As we enter a new growth phase in Australia & New Zealand, we’re in true start- up mode locally – entrepreneurial, hands-on and fast-moving – backed by a proven global business and world-class licensed partners.
We’re looking for an Operations Manager, ANZ to build and run the domestic operational backbone of the tonies® business – retailer connectivity, warehouse and freight, systems and order-to-cash processing – ensuring the business runs smoothly on the ground in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Senior Sales & Operations Manager, tonies ANZ, you will own the domestic operations of the ANZ business – establishing and managing Direct to Retail relationships, warehouse connectivity, ERP integrations and local order and invoicing processes – working closely with the Demand Planner to turn forecasts and stock plans into smooth day-to-day execution.
This is a hands-on operations role – part systems builder, part negotiator, part process owner – ideal for a traditional operations professional who enjoys standing up new local infrastructure and keeping it running reliably in a lean, fast-moving start-up environment.

Finance.
Warehouse & Freight Operations

Establish and manage warehouse connectivity and 3PL relationships, ensuring accurate, timely receipt, storage and dispatch of stock.
-
Lead domestic freight and warehouse contract negotiations, managing rates, service levels and performance against agreed KPIs.
-
Monitor day-to-day warehouse and freight performance, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement in cost and service.
Systems & ERP Integration

Lead local ERP integrations with warehouse, freight and retailer systems (EDI, portals, order and
-
inventory feeds).
-
Own local PO processing end-to-end, ensuring orders are entered, validated and fulfilled accurately and on time.
-
Set up and maintain ERP invoicing processes, ensuring invoicing is accurate, timely and aligned to retailer requirements.
-
Maintain clean master data and operational configuration within the ERP to
-
support scalable local operations.
Collaboration with Demand Planning
-
Work closely with the Demand Planner to translate forecasts and inventory plans into day-to-day operational execution.
-
Share warehouse, freight and retailer operational insights that inform demand and replenishment planning.
-
Jointly manage stock availability issues, order exceptions and retailer escalations with the Demand Planner.
Cross-Functional Leadership
-
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and E-commerce in ANZ to keep operations aligned to business priorities.
-
Build and document standard operating procedures for local order, warehouse and invoicing processes as the ANZ business scales.
-
Champion a test-and-learn, start-up mindset in a lean team environment.
Must-Haves
-
5+ years’ experience in operations management, warehouse/logistics management or supply chain operations (consumer electronics, toys, FMCG or adjacent).
