Motion is an Australian-based engineering solutions provider servicing the mining, manufacturing and construction industries. Our specialist business units operate across fluid power, electro-hydraulic engineering and design, undercarriages, and specialised maintenance and project services.
Motion Australia has a significant presence in the Australian hydraulic sector through its CRAM businesses.
We are looking for a skilled technician with good fluid power experience, a proven ability to be able to work unsupervised and with high-level customer-service focus.
This role includes work in both workshop and customer site environments. Regular travel throughout New South Wales is required, with occasional interstate travel.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter and Machinist or Diesel Fitter is essential

Certification in Hydraulics will be highly regarded
-
Willingness and ability to travel throughout NSW and occasionally interstate, including extended periods away from home.

A current valid driver’s licence – essential

Able to understand and find faults on hydraulic circuits and components, including cylinders, pumps, valves, and motors

Competent to read and interpret engineering & hydraulic circuit drawings

Excellent interaction and communication skills

A customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills

Ability to work unsupervised and follow direction

Computer literate at an Intermediate level
