About the Role
As an Assistant Project Officer, you will provide a broad range of project management and administrative services to help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
You will assist the project team by maintaining project documentation and business systems, preparing meeting minutes, reports and correspondence, contributing to procurement activities and assisting with the management of project budgets, including purchase order and invoice reconciliation.
Using construction project management software and other business systems, you will help maintain accurate project records, track progress, update project information and contribute to reporting requirements. You will also have the opportunity to identify improvements to administrative processes, business systems and service delivery.

About You
We’re looking for a person who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with experience providing high-quality project and business services in a busy, high-volume environment.
You will bring:
- Experience using construction project management software, such as InEight, OranaSoft, Procore or Aconex, to maintain project information, track progress and contribute to reporting.
- Experience providing customer-focused service and a broad range of project management and business services in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated capability in procurement, financial administration and budget monitoring processes, including reconciling purchase orders and invoices.
- Knowledge of, and the ability to interpret and apply, government protocols, administrative policies, processes and procedures.
- Experience working with a broad range of computer-based systems, including Content Manager or similar records management systems, SAP/myWorkZone and Microsoft Office products.
