Eight Homes has opened an Expression of Interest for experienced Colour & Electrical Consultants to work from our stunning new showroom in Port Melbourne. This 12-month fixed term opportunity is open to applicants wanting to work on a full time or part time basis. It may also be ideal for a consultant running their own company seeking a contracting arrangement. Whilst this is a parental leave cover, we expect it is likely this will lead to ongoing opportunity for the right candidate/s.

Within this role your responsibilities would include:

Guiding our clients through the colours and electrical selections journey providing expert advice aligned with current design trends, our specifications and clients personal vision.

Ensuring all documentation is prepared in advance for a stream lined client appointment.

Complete follow up documentation including colour files, tender variations and electrical plans with accuracy and within required timeframes.

Support commercial targets and business outcomes by maintaining quality, efficiency and attention to detail with every appointment and file submission.

Provide a high-quality client experience at all times.
Who are we looking for:
-
Proven experience in a similar role.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create quality client interactions whilst achieving commercial outcomes

Self-motivated and capable of working independently and autonomously
Required:
-
Minimum Certificate IV Interior Design and Decoration (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience working in a client facing role in a colour showroom environment or similar.
