MalayaLane is looking for a reliable and hardworking Back of House Team Member to join our growing Malaysian restaurant team.
Responsibilities
- Food preparation and basic cooking
- Assisting chefs during service
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Receiving and storing stock correctly
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, Asian restaurant or similar environment is preferred
- Must be available for at least four days per week
- Availability across weekdays and weekends
- Must have reliable transport, as public transport is limited in the area
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Must be willing to commit for a minimum of six months
Employment Details
- Casual position
- Approximately 25 hours or more per week
- Casual pay rate based on experience and relevant award rates
- Training will be provided
- Opportunity for additional hours for the right candidate
