We require reliable production assembly technicians to build and test our devices and support our Production Team Leader in this growth phase of our business. The candidate preferably has a sound knowledge of electrical product production that we can train and expand on skill sets. What we're looking for is people who want to get involved with a great team, master new skills, and be part of the continuous improvement journey. We need people who have an eye for detail, and care about the impact their work makes to the lives of our customers.
Key tasks may include:
- Assembling parts and components
For example:
Mounting printed circuit board assemblies into plastic housings
Preparing small electronic assembly units and cable harness assemblies
Drilling plastic and sheet metal parts
Assisting R&D with putting together prototype units
Using test equipment (jigs) to complete batch testing of sensor devices
Checking electronic components using a multimeter
- Running end-to-end testing of built products
Setting up and running automated test scripts on a computer
Analyse test data to troubleshoot failed units
Serial number tracking of different items
Quality inspection of parts / incoming goods
Packaging and labelling activities
- Warehousing and Stock Control
Moving boxes and parcels, and assisting the packing of pallets
Inventory control activities including stock counting
Assembling of shelving units, workbenches or workshop equipment
Preparing screw and accessory kits
