Automotive Photographer (Part Time) · Minchinbury, NSW
This role would suit an emerging photographer with a strong creative eye and a genuine passion for cars, looking to develop into a professional automotive photographer.
SCRM Media works exclusively with car dealerships across Australia, managing their photography, social media and video content end-to-end. We're looking for a Photographer based in or around Minchinbury to shoot vehicle stock on location at a dealership.
This is high-volume work — you'll be photographing dealership inventory at scale, day in and day out. Speed, consistency and a repeatable process matter as much as the creative eye. Prior experience is valued, but attitude and potential matter just as much — we provide training and a clear progression path.
The role
- Photographing dealership inventory at volume — full structured photo sets per vehicle, multiple cars per day
- Working to a consistent shot list and angle sequence so every listing looks the same across a dealer group
- Basic Lightroom editing for colour, exposure and consistency
- Capturing feature and detail shots that present each vehicle at its best
- Some short-form video (Reels, walk-arounds) alongside the stills
- Uploading and organising completed sets for our team
About you
- Some hands-on camera experience and an understanding of quality imagery
- A creative eye for composing vehicles to their best advantage
- Able to work quickly and consistently without dropping quality
- Working Lightroom knowledge, or the ability to learn it quickly
- Strong time management and the ability to work independently across sites
- Reliable, punctual and an effective communicator
- Open to feedback with a genuine drive to improve
- Available Monday to Friday during business hours (25–30 hours per week)
- Own vehicle (essential — the role involves travel between dealerships)
