SkillQuest Solutions are seeking an experienced Office Manager on behalf of our client, an established residential construction company, based in Pakenham, Victoria. The business specialises in the design and construction of quality residential homes, including custom homes, single and double-story residences, multi-unit developments and subdivisions.
With a strong focus on quality workmanship, customer service and efficient project delivery, the company is seeking an organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee its administrative operations and support the continued growth of the business.

Salary - $78,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

THE ROLE:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of a busy residential construction business. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient office systems and procedures, coordinating administrative resources and staff, managing business records and supporting management and construction teams to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Oversee and coordinate daily office operations, administrative systems and procedures to support efficient business operations.
· Contribute to the planning and review of office services, priorities, procedures and administrative standards.
· Develop, implement and maintain effective office policies, systems and administrative procedures.
· Allocate administrative resources, office space and equipment and ensure office supplies and equipment are appropriately maintained.
· Assign duties to administrative staff, coordinate workloads and monitor work performance.
· Manage company records, accounts, databases, filing systems, contracts and confidential business documentation.
· Liaise with management, construction personnel, suppliers, contractors, clients and other professionals to coordinate office activities and resolve administrative matters.
· Coordinate personnel administration including recruitment support, onboarding, payroll information, training and performance management processes.
· Monitor office expenditure, invoices and accounts and assist management with administrative and operational reporting.
· Ensure office operations comply with workplace health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, company policies and established procedures.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Relevant qualification, such as an Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Business, Management or Administration or higher (or agreed equivalent).
· A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in office management or a similar administrative management role.
· Experience within the construction, residential building, property or a related industry would be highly regarded.
· Demonstrated experience managing office systems, administrative procedures, records and business documentation.
· Experience coordinating administrative staff, allocating duties and monitoring workflow.
· Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, contractors, suppliers and staff.
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidential information.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant office management or business software.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
