About The Opportunity
As Enerven continues to expand its portfolio of renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects across South Australia and the east coast, we are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers with proven contractor-side construction delivery experience to lead major HV, substation and Balance of Plant (BOP) projects.
These roles are responsible for the safe and successful delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects across BESS, wind and transmission. Working closely with Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors, you will lead projects through construction, commissioning and handover while maintaining strong commercial, safety and client outcomes.
This is a site-based construction leadership role. We are specifically seeking leaders who have delivered major electrical infrastructure projects within EPC or contractor environments and are comfortable leading multidisciplinary site teams throughout construction execution with direct accountability for safety, programme, commercial performance and project delivery.
Depending on project timing and awards, multiple opportunities may become available.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the contractor-side delivery of major HV, substation and renewable energy construction projects.
- Manage construction execution across Balance of Plant civil and electrical works.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including Project Engineers, Construction Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
- Drive safety, quality, commercial, programme and delivery performance throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, variations, procurement and contract administration.
- Build trusted relationships with clients while maintaining strong delivery outcomes on site.
- Support project mobilisation, construction planning, commissioning and practical completion.
- Contribute to work-winning activities by providing practical delivery input into tenders and constructability reviews.
About You
You are an experienced Senior Project Manager from a contractor or EPC environment, with a track record of delivering major electrical infrastructure construction projects.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading contractor-side delivery of HV substations, transmission, renewable energy or major electrical infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong site leadership experience across multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
- Proven capability managing construction safety, programme, commercial performance, quality and risk.
- Experience delivering projects from contract award and mobilisation through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Excellent client, contractor and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, visible leadership style and willingness to spend significant time on site supporting project teams.
- Experience delivering projects within Tier 1 contractors, EPC organisations or major electrical infrastructure construction businesses will be highly regarded.
