About the Role
As our Administration Officer - Student Services & Reception, you will be a key member of our Student Services team and often the first point of contact for students, visitors and stakeholders.
You will assist prospective and current students by providing administrative support, responding to enquiries, supporting enrolment processes, maintaining student records and helping create a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional reception and front-office services.
- Respond to student enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
- Assist prospective students with course information and application processes.
- Support student onboarding, orientation and ongoing student services activities.
- Maintain accurate student records and administrative documentation.
- Support compliance-related administrative processes and document management.
- Update social media platforms and assist with marketing activities.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting and general office administration.
- Work collaboratively with trainers, assessors and management.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and procedures.
About You
You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in administration, reception, customer service or student services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with trainers, assessors and management.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and procedures.
About You
You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in administration, reception, customer service or student services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively within a small team.
- A positive, professional and student-centred approach.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge
The following would be highly regarded:
- Eunrinnan ring within the Mantional
- Experience supporting international students.
- Knowledge of CRICOS and the ESOS framework.
- Familiarity with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025.
- Experience using VETtrak, PRISMS, Canvas, Xero or similar systems.
- Experience with student enrolments, admissions or student support services.
- Social media and digital communications experience.
