The Coats Group is seeking a professional, organised and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our Head Office team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and being the first point of contact for our guests.
Working from our Fortitude Valley office, you will manage reservations and enquiries across our venues, ensuring every guest receives a warm, efficient and memorable experience from their very first interaction.
About the Role
As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming phone calls and responding to guest enquiries.
- Managing reservations across multiple venues using our reservation systems.
- Assisting guests with bookings for dining, events and special occasions.
- Responding to email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaising with venue management regarding bookings, VIP guests and special requests.
- Maintaining accurate guest information and reservation records.
- Providing knowledgeable information about our venues, menus, events and experiences.
- Supporting the wider operations team with administrative tasks as required.
About You
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
- Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, reception or customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A warm, friendly and professional phone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using computers and reservation systems (experience with SevenRooms is highly regarded but not essential).
- The ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
- Availability to work weekdays, with occasional weekend or evening shifts as required.

Pay: $26.44 – $44.12 per hour
