We're looking for a Buyer (or an experienced Junior Buyer ready to take the next step) to join our Merchandise team. If you're passionate about product, commercially minded and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting to the Buying Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing our category strategy to life. You'll support the end-to-end buying process—from building ranges and managing suppliers through to executing buys, supporting trade and ensuring product information is accurate across the business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Buying Manager in developing commercially successful product ranges.
- Build and maintain accurate buy files, product data and purchase orders.
- Manage day-to-day communication with suppliers, including product updates, samples and delivery timelines.
- Assist with product selection, pricing, range planning and seasonal launches.
- Monitor product performance and support trade actions to maximise sales.
- Prepare product information for Stores, Marketing and eCommerce teams.
- Collaborate with Planning, Buying Administration and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate product records and ensure buying processes are completed efficiently.
About You
You'll be a commercially curious and organised retailer who loves product and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a Buyer or Junior Buyer role within retail.
- Strong commercial awareness and an eye for product.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
