About The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability, helping them achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, calm, kind, and empathetic Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Bendigo. This is a casual position, where you will provide tailored assistance to our client while promoting their independence, wellbeing, and participation in the community.
Please note that there is potential for additional hours for successful applicants.
Duties may Include (but not limited to)
- Assisting clients one on one in-home and in the community.
- Assisting clients with their daily routines including personal hygiene.
- Implementation of mealtime management plans, transfer guides, medication administration procedures.
- Reporting signs of deterioration to management to be passed onto the greater care team.
- Attending trainings with allied health practitioners and registered nurse as required.
- Use of assistive technology including speech and mobility aids.

About You
- Qualification In Individualised Support or Similar.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Required.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Orientation & Induction Modules.
- Infection Control.
- Current PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Training Certificate.
- Current Australian Driver License.
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
- Must Have Right To Work In Australia.
- Reliable Car.
