Your new role:
As a Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with the Logan Alcohol and Drug Service - Counselling and Psychosocial Services (CAFU8), you'll play a vital role in supporting parents and caregivers experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality, family-centred interventions that build parenting capacity, enhance child wellbeing and promote recovery outcomes.
Deliver comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions and care planning for clients experiencing substance use and dependence issues.
Provide counselling, education, advocacy, care coordination and referrals to support recovery and family wellbeing.
Build strong relationships with consumers and carers to deliver compassionate and culturally responsive services.
About you:
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated allied health professional who is passionate about supporting families and creating meaningful change in the lives of children and parents impacted by alcohol and other drug use.
Experience delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions within mental health, alcohol and other drug, family or community settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
