Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in South Melbourne, VIC, for a dedicated and skilled Refrigeration Mechanic. The role involves performing regular preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, completing repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Refrigeration Mechanic will work closely with a team to deliver high-quality service in alignment with the company’s commitment to excellence in electrical and mechanical solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Preventive Maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently and reliably.
- Expertise in Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Proficiency in Electricity and understanding of electrical systems as they relate to refrigeration and HVAC.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of commercial and domestic refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and efficiency optimization techniques.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a trade certificate or license.
- Strong commitment to following safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in insurance or strata-related works is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
