Salary: Academic Level A $97,153 – $117,376 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
You will coordinate and teach units across the School of Law, delivering high-quality learning experiences that support student progression in undergraduate programs. You will prepare contemporary learning materials, assess student performance, and provide timely, constructive feedback that improves learning outcomes.
You will contribute to program and curriculum development in your discipline, working closely with academic colleagues and professional staff to maintain quality and relevance. You will engage with students through School and University activities, and participate in meetings and outreach events that strengthen student engagement.
You will build your scholarly, research, and professional profile in line with School priorities. This includes planning and progressing research or scholarship through to outputs, contributing to publications, supporting funding applications, and collaborating with internal and external partners to strengthen discipline connections..
What Success Looks Like:

Deliver high‑quality teaching, subject coordination, assessment, and curriculum design.

Contribute to research outputs including publications, grants, and supervision.

Build strong relationships across the legal profession, judiciary, community organisations, and discipline partners.

Support students to achieve academic success and pursue research pathways.

Participate in outreach, engagement, and student experience initiatives across the School and broader community.

Engage actively in School and Faculty meetings, administration, and governance.
About You

You hold a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline, or a master’s with a commitment to doctoral study

You have demonstrated experience delivering engaging, high-quality tertiary teaching using contemporary approaches

You bring experience in designing and delivering outreach across diverse education settings

You bring strong relationship-building skills and can engage effectively with the legal profession, courts, community organisations, and academic stakeholders.

You have demonstrated research activity, or the capacity to progress work through to publications and outputs

You have experience, or the potential, to supervise honours or higher degree research students
-
You bring the ability to collaborate effectively, including contributing to cross-disciplinary research proposals.
