Position: Cook – Full-time

DOME Café in Geraldton is a dine-in restaurant-cum-café located on the Geraldton foreshore. We are urgently looking to recruit a full-time cook with relevant qualification and experience to join our team and commence work soonest possible.
We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:
- Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident
- Someone with intention to work and stay in Geraldton in the long-term
- Has at least 1 years’ experience as a cook/chef in Australia
- Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
- Has supervisory skills to manage the team of kitchen staff
- Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
- Experience in controlling food costs and portions
- Be available for work on most days, including weekends
- Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
- Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
- Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
- Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
