About the Role
As a Hotel Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day service operations of our accommodation properties while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and high service standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop hospitality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel service operations, including front office, housekeeping and guest services.
- Supervise and support hotel staff to maintain high service standards.
- Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily duties.
- Conduct room inspections and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and hospitality regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation and operational standards throughout the property.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory, linen and housekeeping supplies.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Support management in improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in hotel, motel or accommodation management or hotel service supervision.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience supervising housekeeping and front office operations.
- Knowledge of hospitality cleaning procedures and quality standards.
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management is highly regarded.
- Full Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship.
