We are looking for an experienced MC A-Double Driver to join our team for ongoing linehaul container work.
The role involves operating A-Double combinations on regular Brisbane to Townsvilleand Brisbane to Cairns runs, transporting shipping containers. All freight is fork-on and fork-off, so there is no hand loading or unloading.
About the Role
- Drive modern A-Double combinations.
- Linehaul container transport between Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns.
- Fork-on / Fork-off container freight – no manual handling.
- Complete pre-start inspections and required paperwork.
- Comply with NHVR regulations, fatigue management and company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Current MC (Multi Combination) Licence.
- Experience operating A-Double combinations.
- Good driving history.
- Sound understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required.
