Warehouse & Production Lead – Lead, Improve and Make an Impact
About ITW
At ITW, we're a Fortune 300 global industrial company with a proud history of innovation spanning more than 100 years. Our trusted brands, including Paslode, Pryda and Ramset, are recognised across the construction industry, and our entrepreneurial culture empowers our people to take ownership, solve problems and continuously improve the way we work.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Production Lead to join our Concrete Systems division, based on site at our Chirnside Park facility.
This is a newly created leadership role, established to further strengthen our warehouse and production operations. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you'll lead an established team across warehouse and production while driving capability, improving operational performance and embedding a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
This isn't a role for someone who prefers to manage from behind a desk. We're looking for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, coaching their team, solving problems alongside operators and leading by example.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Production Lead to join our Concrete Systems division. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, this onsite role is based at our Chirnside Park site.
What You'll Do
Lead People
-
Lead, coach and develop warehouse and production team members, building capability and creating a high-performing, engaged team.
-
Foster a positive, accountable culture where safety, collaboration and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
Drive Operational Excellence
-
Oversee warehouse and production operations to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
-
Improve inventory accuracy, warehouse performance and customer delivery outcomes while maintaining strong operational standards.
Improve the Business
-
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse and production processes, standardise ways of working and improve overall efficiency.
-
Use data and operational insights to drive better performance and support informed decision-making.
Collaborate Across the Business
-
Partner with Safety, Supply Chain and Operations teams to deliver strong customer outcomes and support business objectives.
-
Build strong working relationships across the site to solve problems and drive improvements together.
What You'll Bring
-
Demonstrated experience leading warehouse operations in a supervisory or leadership role.
-
Exposure to manufacturing or production environments is highly regarded, however we're happy to support the right candidate to build their production knowledge.
-
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and continuous improvement principles.
-
A genuine commitment to creating a positive safety culture and leading by example.
-
Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate teams while building accountability and engagement.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
-
Commercial awareness and the ability to balance operational performance, customer service and cost outcomes.
