We're passionate about fresh food, exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for both locals and visitors. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.
Working closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team, you'll assist with food preparation, service, stock control and maintaining the high standards The Pier Café is becoming known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality café and restaurant dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
- Assist with food preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient section.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained.
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering and minimising food wastage.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
- Help maintain a positive, professional and supportive kitchen environment.
About You
- You'll be someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing quality food.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Cook looking to take the next step.
- Experience in a busy café, restaurant or hospitality venue.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Current Food Safety knowledge.
- Availability to work every weekend is essential.
