The Role
As Vice President HSEOE, you will lead the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Operational Excellence (Engineering, Asset Management and Project Management Office) functions for Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific.
Based at our global headquarters in Brisbane and as an integral member of the Business Unit Leadership Team, this role will be pivotal in translating and delivering HSEOE strategy into stronger business performance, greater operational discipline, reduced critical risk and sustainable growth across a complex, multi-site business.
Leading a multi-disciplinary HSEOE function, you will strengthen capability, champion continuous improvement and bring rigour to an ongoing transformation agenda, while leveraging global collaboration to lift performance across the business.
Lead the development and execution of the Business Unit HSEOE strategy
Provide strategic leadership across HSE, operational excellence, engineering, asset management and the PMO
Drive Zero Harm outcomes and embed critical risk controls across the business
Lead the implementation and integration of management systems, global standards and operational excellence programs
Build leadership capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HSEOE function and broader business
Ensure HSEOE investment and capital spend is aligned to risk reduction, compliance and business value
What you’ll bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a large multi-business unit, multinational complex operational environment
Extensive asset and equipment management experience across manufacturing, distribution and delivery of hazardous materials
Experience leading cross-functional teams including HSE, Engineering and Asset Management
Experience leading a Project Management Office delivering large-scale capital projects
Experience implementing management systems and operational improvement programs
Degree qualified in Engineering, with post graduate business qualification preferred
