Job description:
The role of Sheet Metal Worker & Cutter will be tasked with the manufacture of HVAC filtration products. This role will involve the use of fabrication machinery, hand-tools for textile cutting, and final product assembly.
Duties of the role:
- Safely operate various sheet metal machines and tools, including: guillotines, benders, rollers, pneumatic presses, spot welders, drills
- Accurate assembly of metal HVAC filtration products
- Safely operate various textile related tools and equipment, including: rotary blades, sewing machines
- Provide manual assistance to receiving and despatch when required, including truck and container unloads
Required skills:
- Experience with sheet metal work and/or machining
- Experience with cutting blades and the handling of textiles is desired
- Experience within the filtration or HVAC industry will be looked upon favourably but is not essential
- Applicants must be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- Physically able to lift and transport cartons and boxes
