We are looking for a motivated and dependable Local Driver / Yard Hand to join our Townsville Depot. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of driving and yard duties, with the opportunity for licence upgrades and training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HC vehicles (training/licence upgrades available if required).
- Load and unload freight.
- Assist with general yard operations, including freight sorting and preparation.
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks and basic maintenance reporting.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with the depot team to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Experience:
- HC Licence preferred (or willingness to obtain – training provided).
- Previous driving or transport experience an advantage.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
