About the role
At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavours and the power of food to bring people together. As a Night Cook at GYG Hawthorn, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen through our evening and late night trade, working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, following the GYG recipe guide to deliver quality food for our guests right up until close.
We trade until 1am on Glenferrie Road, right next to Swinburne Uni, so this role suits night owls, students, and anyone who wants consistent evening shifts with penalty rates.
What you'll be doing
- Cooking and prepping on the hot line during evening and late night service
- Following GYG recipes and food safety standards
- Keeping the kitchen clean, stocked, and ready for the next day
- Working closely with a tight, supportive night crew

Who we're looking for
You don't need years of experience, we provide full training. What matters is reliability, a good attitude, and being comfortable working nights. Kitchen experience is a bonus.
