Your new role:
As the Director Support Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Allied Health Directorate by providing high-level confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Director and senior staff.
Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support, including diary management, correspondence, meeting coordination, minute taking, travel arrangements and stakeholder liaison.
Coordinate workforce administration activities including recruitment, payroll support, leave processing, rostering and contract administration using Queensland Health systems.
About you:
You are an organised and proactive administration professional who enjoys supporting senior leaders and building positive working relationships. You are adaptable, highly professional and committed to delivering outstanding service in a busy healthcare environment.
Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and secretarial support, with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
