About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing team. You will support older adults to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Assist with medication prompts (as per care plan)
- Provide social support, companionship, and community access
- Monitor client wellbeing and report any changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Uphold Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations (as per current health guidelines)
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and professionalism
Desirable
- Experience working with older adults or people with disabilities
- Manual handling training
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Arabic Speaking
