About the Role
As the Associate Director, Industry Missions you will join the Investment NSW group, within the Industry and Investment branch. This role leads strategic work to attract productive investment, grow industry capability and deliver economic outcomes across the critical and enabling technology sector. Working at the centre of government, the role drives initiatives that support the NSW Industry Policy and Trade and Investment Strategy 2035, with a strong focus on critical and enabling technology to support delivery of NSW’s key industry missions: housing, net zero and the energy transition, and local manufacturing. It combines sector leadership, investor engagement and cross-government collaboration to identify opportunities, shape policy settings and help create the conditions for businesses, industries and communities across NSW to thrive

We're Looking For

Strong experience driving productive investment, commercial or industry development outcomes in sectors critical to NSW’s economic growth, ideally the technology sector.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities, navigate complex issues and turn strategy into practical outcomes.

Proven success building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders across government, industry and the private sector.

Experience leading teams and delivering results in fast-paced, high-pressure and politically sensitive environments.
