Are you an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse looking for your next contract in NSW? Alliance Rural & Remote Health is seeking skilled ED nurses with current Advanced Life Support (ALS), Triage, and Resuscitation (Resus) experience to join healthcare services across metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote New South Wales.
These roles offer the opportunity to work in fast-paced Emergency Departments, providing critical frontline care to patients with a wide range of presentations while further developing your emergency nursing expertise.

The Role
As a Registered Nurse Emergency Department, you will:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within busy Emergency Department environments
- Perform patient assessment, triage, and prioritisation of care according to clinical urgency
- Respond confidently to emergency situations and deteriorating patients
- Participate in and support resuscitation events and trauma presentations
- Utilise Advanced Life Support (ALS) skills in the management of critically unwell patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to NSW Health policies and procedures
- Work effectively in dynamic and high-pressure clinical environments

What You'll Bring
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department nurses with demonstrated competence in ALS, Triage, and Resuscitation who can confidently manage high-acuity patients and emergency presentations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated competency in Triage
- Recent Resuscitation (Resus) experience
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate nursing experience within Australia
Highly Regarded
- Emergency nursing postgraduate qualifications
- Experience working in regional, rural, or remote Emergency Departments
- ALS Level 2 or equivalent advanced emergency certifications
- Experience managing trauma, paediatric, and high-acuity presentations
