The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Generative AI, you will lead the implementation of AI-powered solutions across OES and its partners. You'll work closely with academic, learning and design, product, technology, and operational teams to ensure AI products deliver meaningful outcomes for learners, academics, and partners while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and ethical standards. You'll also lead and develop a team of AI Solution Specialists, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with university stakeholders, academics, learning designers, and academic leaders to implement AI solutions that enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Act as the voice of the learner and educator, ensuring AI solutions address real educational challenges and opportunities.

Drive adoption of AI tools across academic and learning support functions through engagement, training, and change management activities.

Owns end‑to‑end delivery and rollout of agreed product scope

Translates roadmap into delivery plans, milestones and dependencies

Manages delivery risk, sequencing, capacity and constraints

Leads change management, rollout readiness and adoption

Is accountable for on‑time, safe and scalable delivery

Drive stakeholder engagement, change management, and adoption activities
- Champion the needs of academics, learning designers, and students to inform product improvements
- Partner with business, product, and technology teams to align delivery outcomes
- Manage AI governance, risk, privacy, and compliance processes
- Monitor adoption metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Lead and develop a team of AI Solution Specialists
- Communicate progress, risks, insights, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
About you:
You are a collaborative and commercially minded delivery leader who is who is passionate about the future of learning and the transformative potential of AI within higher education. You understand the challenges faced by academics, learning designers, and student support teams and are excited by opportunities to leverage emerging technology to improve teaching quality, student engagement, and learner outcomes.
You'll bring:

Experience working within higher education, online education, vocational education, learning and development, or academic operations environments.

Experience leading change initiatives, program delivery, or operational improvements within an education setting.

Experience delivering and implementing AI, digital, or technology products
-
Strong stakeholder management and change leadership capability
-
Knowledge of some AI governance, risk, privacy, security, and compliance frameworks

Experience working within agile delivery environments

Strong analytical and reporting skills

A track record of driving adoption and business outcomes from technology solutions

Experience leading, coaching, or developing high-performing teams
-
Tertiary qualifications, Business, Project Management in Education, Learning Design, Teaching, Educational Leadership, or a related discipline.
