Description:
You will be responsible for overseeing all survey operations across the project. You will work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to ensure all survey data is accurate, timely, and aligned with project specification.
Specifically, responsibilities will include:
Lead surveys across multiple pipeline sections
Be the main point of contact for managing any sub-contracted survey scope, if the need arises
Plan and execute survey strategies in line with project requirements
Conduct and supervise field surveys including topographic, construction, and as-built surveys
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and data sets for project use
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Liaise with project engineers, clients, and subcontractors
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 5+ years experience working in the construction, oil and gas or civil industry
Tertiary qualification in Surveying
Experience utilising Trimble GPS equipment
Competent in use of TBC, CAD, and ArcGIS packages
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels
Desire to work within a supportive team, display great drive and job focus
Agile planning and programming skills applicable to continuous moving targets across work fronts
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & MSP
Ability to work 19:9 roster in client supplied operational camp
