We are currently seeking applications for Hotel Services to join our Disability Services team at our Kingsley site. We are offering a permanent part time position working 24 hours per fortnight with opportunity to pick up shifts if there is any. Shifts offered are for every Wednesday & Friday, 0800 - 1400 with opportunities to pick up more shifts throughout the week.
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained environment, thorough laundry services and meals and refreshment requirements for clients, keeping with health codes and regulations.
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of working in a home environment, as opposed to commercial cleaning settings.
- Ability to balance task completion with maintaining a respectful, person‑centred approach in a client’s home.
- Cleaning experience is beneficial (aged care or hospital experience acceptable).
- Dementia care experience is useful but not essential.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability to client needs and the home setting.
- Capacity to engage clients in promoting independence, including involving them in light household tasks where appropriate.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and support clients respectfully
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary and homely environment
- Conduct cleaning stock and equipment audits and order cleaning stock as required
- Upholding health codes and regulations by providing a high-quality service
