Responsibilities:
1. Safe Delivery: Ensure timely and secure delivery of our kitchen and joinery products to various destinations, maintaining the quality and integrity of the goods.
2. Load & Unload: Safely load and unload kitchen components, ensuring products remain undamaged during transit.
3. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance of the delivery truck to ensure safe operations.
4. Communication: Regularly update the dispatch and logistics team about delivery status, potential delays, or any on-road issues.
5. Route Planning: Use GPS and other routing systems to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including signatures, times, and any special instructions or issues.
7. Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience driving trucks or similar vehicles.
Ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
