About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic
Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who excels in campaign development, brand positioning, and digital engagement. You will play a pivotal role in driving marketing initiatives that support CCIWA’s mission and deliver value to our members and non-members.
We currently have two
full-time, permanent positions that will be based in the Perth CBD office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Marketing & Campaign Execution: develop and optimise the online presence for relevant business units, including managing digital content and social platforms, while delivering data-driven paid campaigns, refining ad spend and targeting, and executing remarketing strategies to improve ROI and conversions.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: create performance-focused marketing strategies to generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that convert, while partnering with the business development team to align with business objectives and implementing tracking, analytics and reporting systems to measure performance and improve conversion rates.
- Content & Ad Creative Development: engage with business units to identify content opportunities and coordinate the creation and delivery of consistent, high-impact marketing materials including newsletters, EDMs, social media, ad creatives and landing pages and ensuring all messaging aligns with CCIWA’s value proposition and drives effective campaign outcomes.
- Performance Tracking & Optimisation: monitor campaign performance, key metrics and competitor activity, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to track user behaviour, optimise campaigns and report on effectiveness with data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Policy, Advocacy & Membership Communications: Depending on the role focus, develop and execute communication, content and engagement strategies that either promote CCIWA’s policy and advocacy priorities or drive membership acquisition, retention and engagement, while strengthening awareness of CCIWA’s services and value to the business community.
About You
We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and brings a creative and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Bachelor/tertiary degree in in a marketing, communications, journalism, media relations or similar, desirable.
- Proven experience developing and executing data-driven, multi-channel marketing plans aligned to strategic objectives.
- Strong expertise in paid marketing (Meta and Google Ads), leveraging market research and audience segmentation to optimise campaigns, drive engagement and maximise ROI.
- Strong capability in developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, engagement and discoverability across multiple platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in SEO, social media, EDM platforms and CMS, using analytics and insights to optimise content delivery and campaign performance.
- Advanced technical proficiency across digital marketing tools, including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, email platforms (e.g. Campaign Monitor) and CMS (e.g. WordPress).
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, database management, segmentation and web technologies to support targeted, data-driven marketing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt strategies to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across teams and partners to drive effective, aligned marketing outcomes.
- National Police Clearance and valid Drivers Licence.
