White Bulls Automation Pty Ltd (WBA) is seeking reliable and experienced Electricians to join our project team for upcoming works, currently expected to continue through to December. There is also potential for ongoing and full-time employment as our national project pipeline continues to grow.
WBA works with leading names across the warehouse and aviation automation sectors, carrying out industrial automation, conveyor, baggage handling, warehouse automation and project installation works throughout Australia. This role would suit a reliable, hands-on Electrician who is safety-focused, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in project-based environments, including interstate work where required.
About the Role
You will be involved in electrical installation, fault finding, testing, commissioning support, maintenance and project works across automation and industrial environments. The work may include conveyor systems, baggage handling systems, warehouse automation, electrical fit-off and general project installation duties.
This role is a full-time permanent role as WBA's project pipeline continues to grow. The successful applicant may also be required to travel interstate from time to time, depending on project requirements.
The role also offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialist crews, gaining exposure to specialist automation systems, commissioning processes and technical knowledge across major project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation works on industrial automation and conveyor systems
- Cable installation, termination, fit-off and testing
- Assisting with commissioning and project completion works
- Reading and interpreting drawings, instructions and site requirements
- Working safely and in accordance with site procedures and HSE requirements
- Completing required documentation, timesheets and job records
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, trades and client representatives
To Be Successful, You Will Need
- Current WA Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- CPR/LVR, or willingness to obtain
- Strong safety focus
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug and alcohol testing, where required
- Australian working rights
- Ability to work safely and follow site instructions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliability and flexibility for project-based work
Highly Regarded
- High Risk Work Licence for Forklift, EWP, or willingness to obtain
- Experience in industrial, automation, conveyor, baggage handling or similar project environments
- Ability to travel for project works if required
- ASIC card, or the ability to obtain one
