As the Recruitment Consultant you will be partnering with organisations seeking to diversify their workforce and advocating for candidates who require support finding employment.
In this role you will make meaningful change in people's lives through securing sustainable employment opportunities by partnering with organisations with similar values.
No two days are the same! You will be traveling to different locations, meeting customers, employers, AKG site staff, visiting worksites and becoming a subject matter expert in our partner organisations:
Develop new and existing partnerships with organisations by promoting diversity and inclusion
Understand labour market needs and provide insights to the internal AKG teams, matching caseload demands with employer needs
Empower and connect jobseeking customers to sustainable employment
Collaborate with AKG Job Coaches, management teams, health and training departments to provide solutions for employers and customers
Be a changemaker in the community for some of our most vulnerable customers
Customer service experience
Passion for business development - training available
Some experience in, or knowledge of a target-based role
Experience or willing to learn how to develop a great stakeholder experience (both internal and external) with a strong focus on follow up and relationship management
Excellent communication skills particularly verbal
Ability to think strategically, with a solutions-focused approach
Be open to learning and development
Hold a current Drivers licence and own a car
Ability to obtain Working with Children Card and Police Check
