We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced female Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for a lovely lady living in the Ringwood.
Job Description:
The shifts are weekly Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s 1pm-4pm each shift.
The successful applicant will assist with community access, appointments, daily living activities, and provide respectful, compassionate support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
Essential requirements:
- Experience supporting people with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
- Relevant disability support qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current driver’s licence and a large SUV or suitable vehicle capable of transporting a wheelchair.
- Comprehensive car insurance and reliable transport.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach.
