About the role
This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the City of Parramatta. As a Senior Project Manager - Business Special Projects, you will lead high-profile transformation and business improvement initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, enhance governance, and support the delivery of better outcomes for our community.
Working across complex projects and diverse stakeholder groups, you will help drive organisational priorities from planning through to implementation and outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Lead and deliver complex business improvement and transformation initiatives aligned to Council's strategic priorities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project groups and key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes, manage risks and drive accountability.
- Develop and implement change strategies that support the successful adoption of initiatives and deliver lasting organisational outcomes.
Prepare strategic advice, reports and recommendations for Executive Leadership, Councillors and project governance groups.

We offer a competitive remuneration package from $160,067 to $177,439 plus 12% superannuation.

About you
You are a highly capable project and transformation professional with a track record of delivering complex initiatives in dynamic environments. You excel at building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders and navigating complexity to achieve meaningful outcomes.
You will also bring:
- Extensive experience delivering business improvement, transformation or organisational change initiatives with demonstrable outcomes.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups within complex and evolving environments.
- Strong project management expertise across planning, governance, risk management, reporting, budgets and delivery.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills, with experience providing advice and reporting to senior leaders and governance bodies.
