SkillQuest Solutions are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst on behalf of our client, an established business operating within the energy efficiency and clean energy sector, based in Ravenhall, Victoria. The company provides energy-saving solutions to residential and commercial customers, including services delivered through government-supported energy efficient programs. The business supports customers to access eligible upgrades including energy-efficient air conditioning, heat pumps and solar battery storage solutions, while coordinating installation services through licensed professionals.
Position – ICT Business Analyst

Salary - $90,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation per annum

THE ROLE:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ICT Business Analyst to analyse existing business processes and ICT systems and identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with management, staff, developers and external service providers to identify business requirements, improve workflows and support the implementation and ongoing improvement of ICT systems across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Analyse existing business processes, workflows and ICT systems across sales, customer management, compliance, installation scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
· Consult with management, staff and relevant stakeholders to identify business requirements, system limitations and opportunities for process improvement.
· Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for new and enhanced ICT systems.
· Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend ICT based solutions to improve workflows, data management, communication and service delivery.
· Develop functional specifications, process maps, workflow models and system documentation based on identified business requirements.
· Work with software developers, vendors and service providers to communicate business requirements and assist with the design and implementation of system improvements.
· Analyse integration requirements between existing and proposed systems, applications and digital platforms.
· Assist with testing new systems, system enhancements and integrations to ensure solutions meet documented business and functional requirements.
· Identify system issues and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to implement appropriate solutions.
· Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of systems supporting customer management, sales activities, compliance requirements, installation scheduling and subcontractor operations.
· Develop user documentation, procedures and training materials and provide support to staff during the implementation of new or improved systems.
· Monitor implemented solutions and recommend further improvements based on business requirements and operational performance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline, or agreed equivalent.
· At least 1 year of relevant professional experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a closely related ICT role.
· Experience working with field service operations, installation businesses, subcontractor networks, energy efficiency programs or compliance driven environments will be highly regarded.
· Demonstrated experience in analysing business processes, procedures and ICT system requirements.
· Experience in gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.
· Ability to prepare functional specifications, process maps, workflows and system documentation.
· Experience with business applications, CRM systems, digital platforms and system integrations.
· Understanding of system implementation, testing and quality assurance processes.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify system and process inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management, users, developers, vendors and other stakeholders.
· Ability to translate operational and business requirements into clear ICT system requirements and functional specifications.
· Ability to manage priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Good organisational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
