This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites.
The Mechanical Asset Specialist is responsible for reviewing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical compliance and reliability for all Pilbara Ports’ Assets. Reporting to the Principal Engineer – Asset Planning, the role works across relevant teams to analyse operational processes, resources, maintenance practices, asset use and safety processes.
About You

You are a qualified and experienced mechanical professional with a background in asset‑intensive industries such as ports, mining or similar safety‑critical environments. You bring hands-on experience in asset management, maintenance or reliability, with the ability to coordinate maintenance activities and support continuous improvement.
You are proactive, adaptable and enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to an inclusive and high-performing culture.
You are a strong communicator who builds effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant asset outcomes.
