As a Workforce Planner at IRT, you will play a vital role in forecasting staffing needs, analyzing workforce data, and developing strategies to ensure we have the right people in the right positions. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support our organizational goals.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Planner to join our team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week), working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The successful candidate can be based at IRT Greenwell Gardens, IRT Culburra Beach, or IRT St Georges Basin.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to work on-site across two shift patterns: 5:00 AM–2:30 PM and 10:30 AM–7:30 PM.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop schedules in line with business needs.
- Assist the Workforce Coordinator to effectively roster our employee resources.
- You will be responsible for the publishing of rosters, processing of employee status changes and employment transactions whilst using your knowledge of interpreting relevant industrial instruments to provide a professional service to our staff.
- Manage contacts from employees and team leaders relating to planned and unplanned absences, and assess requirement for backfilling or additional shifts
- Ensure compliance to all company and industry guidelines
- Set new staff up on the systems
