About the Role
This is a full-time position for an experienced Chef who thrives in a busy café and bistro setting. You'll be working alongside a dedicated team, contributing to the preparation and delivery of consistently great food that keeps our customers coming back.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard
- Contributing to menu development and seasonal specials
- Managing kitchen stations efficiently during service
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring smooth and organised kitchen operations
About You
You are a reliable and motivated chef with a genuine love for food and a positive attitude in the kitchen.
You will have:
- Previous experience working as a chef
- A completed chef apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a café, bistro, or similar hospitality environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- A team-first approach and excellent communication skills
