Tyre Doctor is seeking a OTR Tyre Repairer to join our team. We're looking for a motivated and eager individual to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out OTR tyre repairs in accordance with Australian Standards
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a safe and clean condition
- Supporting stock handling, storage and inventory organisation
- Completing administrative paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Participating in safety programs, reporting hazards and attending weekly safety meetings
- Maintaining technical knowledge through training and development opportunities
· Identify faults and report any potential hazards on tyres.
· Carry out manual handling tasks.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous tyre fitting, repair or mechanical experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- High Risk Forklift Licence (or ability to obtain)
· Reliable, with a solid work ethic
· Knowledge of safety practices in a workshop environment
· A team player, always willing to assist colleagues across the branch
· Mechanical aptitude
